Aquaria Water Museum

Falkenbergsgatan 2, Djurgarden, Sweden, Stockholm

About the company:

The Aquaria Water Museum was founded in 1991 on the island of Yugorden. The museum is a unique place in which the necessary tropical climate is artificially maintained.

The first hall of Aquaria is a rainforest through which a river with piranhas and other fish flows. Humidity in the museum ranges from 70-100%, and the temperature is +25-30 C °. The exposition is arranged in such a way that during the tour visitors will catch the dawn, hear the pleasant chirping of birds, feel the sun’s rays, see the twilight, which will be accompanied by a thunder strike and a shower. It will be possible to wait out the rain in a special hut, and in five minutes to go to the next hall. It is home to extraordinary creatures - from splashfish to poisonous toads. From the hall to the hall you can walk past Africa, Indonesia, the Amazon and walk to the cold waters of Sweden.

In the Aquaria Museum, everyone will be able to watch a movie about the life of unique fish, feed sharks with the help of an instructor, and purchase souvenirs.
