Basel and Rhine Falls
Description:
Basel is the third largest city in Switzerland. It is located on the border with France and Germany, and this explains a lot in its history, economy, and in the life of Basel. The only airport in the world that belongs to three countries at once, a city tram that crosses the state border twice, German, which is significantly different from Swiss German, national cuisine and much more, inherent only in Basel - all this and much more we learn while walking around Basel.
You will admire the beautiful embankment of the Rhine, visit the City Hall, in the painting of which Holbein Jr. himself participated, enjoy the wonderful fountains and walk through the Old Town.
Basel is a Mecca for museum lovers! From the Historical and Art Museum to the Toy Museum, the Humor Museum and animation!
At the end of the walk we will have the opportunity to take a boat ride on the Rhine and take beautiful photos.
And for the especially tireless, a trip to the beautiful Rhine Falls - the largest in Europe, which has not yet left anyone indifferent!
