The border of the XII-XIII centuries became a fateful time for the baronial fortress - Bern's victory in the confrontation with the local aristocracy turned into ruin for the castle of Bremgarten.
After a short siege, the castle was burned down. The debts of the Bremgarten brothers grew, their native castle was emptied - and they decide to sell the land.
