Kiezen Castle

Switzerland, Kiesen, Staldenstrasse 2

Description:

Kiesen Castle is located in a village of the same name belonging to the Swiss province of Born. The two-storey aristocratic mansion was built in the XVIII century on the site of its medieval predecessor. The building is a two-storey building connected to each other with a tent roof covered with red tiles. The windows are decorated with carved shutters. Around there is a park with centuries-old trees.

During its history, the castle belonged to only two families who owned it until the end of the XX century. For the past twenty years, Kiesen has been empty, and now the artist Michel Chantal lives in it.
