Thunstetten Castle is a real "Swiss Versailles" near Bern. The castle was built according to a French architectural project with the aim of creating a Versailles entourage. The castle is relatively new compared to many of Switzerland’s oldest castles, only 300 years old. Around the castle there is a magnificent park for beautiful walks and picturesque photo shoots.
Thunstetten Castle consists of their large one-storey mansion and cellars. The interior of the castle is decorated with works of art. The castle has always been privately owned, but has been owned by different owners for hundreds of years.
Today, the doors of Thunstetten Castle are open to travelers. There are exhibitions here.
