Zurich

Flea market

Burkliplatz, Zurich, Switzerland

Description:

The flea market in the center of Zurich is an amazing place. It can be compared to a historical museum.

In Switzerland, fleas are widespread and very popular, but they work only one day off – on Saturdays. The market in Zurich is open only in the warmest times – from May to the first cold of October. There you can buy literally everything you want - from rare dolls of the XIX century to candlesticks and ancient books. Toys of different eras languish on the shelves, and some instances of teddy bears are already 150 years old.

Antiques keep the neighborhood with the most ordinary things. And if you, suppose, buy a guitar, then you may well be given a pompous floor lamp. Bags, shoes, vinyl discs, books, dishes, stylish frames - all this is present in huge quantities for every taste and wallet.
