Ritberg Museum

Gablerstrasse 15, 8002 Zurich, Switzerland

About the company:

The Ritberg Museum is present in almost all historical tours of Zurich. It will be interesting for both adults and children. Students can find useful material for their work.

A fairly large collection of exhibits is housed in three buildings of the museum, which were built in the 19th century. Two of them are Villas Wesendonck and Schoenberg, and the third, Rieter, is a Villa Park.

Particular attention is drawn to the Wazendonk, which was built by immigrants who came from the United States. Here you can see works of art from such countries as India, Japan, China and other countries of the Asian and African continents. Most of the exhibition is related to the Buddhist religion.

Other exhibits include paintings, Swiss masks, printed books, Chinese tombs and Khmer sculptures. The museum also hosts music concerts and even has its own printing house.
