Zurich Airport
Description:
Zurich Airport is Switzerland’s largest international airport, serving more than 20 million passengers annually. It is located 13 kilometers north of the city of Zurich.
The airport in Zurich opened in 1953, and a big celebration was held in honor of this event. In the following years, the airport was constantly developing and modernizing, trying to cope with the influx of passengers. Today, the airport has four runways, but it remains one of the busiest in Europe. Zurich Airport is the base airport of Swiss International Air Lines.
On the territory of the airport there are a huge number of shops, cafes and restaurants. In addition, 2-3 mobile reference centers are constantly on duty in the halls: at the counter on wheels of confused passengers are met by pretty smart Swiss women who speak 6-7 languages. They understand the situation and literally take it by the hand to the right place or an employee who speaks your language.
Getting to the airport will not be a problem - right under the terminal is an underground railway station connecting the airport with many Swiss cities. Trains run continuously. And in front of the terminal, a convenient parking lot is built for those passengers who prefer to travel by their own car. The car can be left in the parking lot for both long and short periods.
