Gastronomic tour
Description:
A gastronomic tour of Switzerland is a journey of exploring three European cultures. In the heart of the Alps meet French Atlantic, Italian Mediterranean and German continental cultures.
If you have arrived in Geneva and you are planning one day for a gastronomic tour, you are a lover and connoisseur of good wines, fine cheese and chocolate, then this is the offer for you.
During our trip by car or train, you will be amazed by the huge number of vineyards on the mountain slopes. After all, Switzerland is the birthplace of the first vineyards on the banks of the greatest wine-growing rivers in the world - the Rhine and the Rhone, originating in the Alps. In addition, few people know that Swiss vineyards are the highest in Europe.
We will make a pleasant trip by car along the Lavet vineyards to the beautiful village of Pidu-Scherbe with its famous grape cellars. Before you go to taste the local wines, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the majestic panorama of Lake Geneva while walking along one of the paths among the vineyards.
Then we go to Gruyère to taste the cheese, and end with a dessert in the form of delicate chocolate at the Chocodade Factory in Broca.
