Lugano Airport
Description:
Lugano Airport is located six kilometers west of the Swiss city of Lugano. About 200,000 passengers pass through it every year. This airport is the headquarters of Darwin Airlines.
The structure of the airport includes a spacious building of the passenger terminal, one of the features of this airport is a really large selection of products in duty free shops. And in the neighboring building there is a small cozy restaurant, the aero club in turn is located in the open air under a canopy between the two buildings. The airport has one runway, but it is double-sided, its length is 1350 meters and width is 30 meters.
Lugano Airport is about six kilometers from Lugano city center and the same distance from the A2 motorway. There are both long-term and short-term parking, taxi stands, and a large selection of car rental companies is presented.
Bus service connects the airport with Lugano railway station and the city center, buses meet the most regular flights.
