Climb to Mount Pilatus

Mount Pilatus is located near the city of Lucerne and has a height of 2,132 meters above sea level. You can climb here in two ways: on a lift coming from the suburbs or on the steepest railway in the world, which departs from the town of Alpnakhstadt. You can also reach the top of Pilatus on foot, but only the most courageous tourists will do it.
If you decide to use the lift, then the first 30 minutes you will spend in a small cabin for 4 people on the route Kriensereg-Freckmunteg, and then sit in the same pavilion on another lift with a large gondola, which will take you to the top of Pilatus. Descent from the mountain is carried out on a similar route.
The lift works all year round, but the railway is closed for the winter months. Take care of buying tickets in advance, because there are always a lot of people on the lift, since the views that open from it simply fascinate with their beauty.
