Geneva

Sightseeing tour of Geneva

Description:

Beautiful Geneva morning. In a comfortable car we go to the quarter of international organizations, to the square of nations. It is this quarter that makes Geneva the capital of the world: the UN European Headquarters, the World Labour Organization, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization, the International Red Cross, the High Secretariat for Refugees and many others. Past the city park Pearl of Lake our way leads to the embankment "Mont Blanc", which overlooks the buildings of fashionable Geneva hotels, a stop at the mausoleum of the Duke of Brunswick. Here we are on the bridge "Mont Blanc" on the right in the course of traffic island J. J. Rousseau, and on the left "National Monument" and the famous "Flower Clock" near the English garden. To the Russian Orthodox Church and admiring the play of the sun in its golden domes, we go to the observation deck in Coloni, which offers an unforgettable view of Geneva and the lake. Enjoying Geneva from a car window, we go for a walk in the medieval city. Starting with the Conservatory, the Bolshoi Theatre and the Rath Museum and further through the Bastions Park and past the Reformation Wall, we will climb a hill to the old town: chestnut alley, the Arsenal and Meria building, St. Peter's Cathedral (you can climb to the observation deck, which is located on the tower of the cathedral), Burg de Four Square. Through the shopping quarters of Geneva, we descend to the Flower Clock on the embankment of Lake Geneva.
