Tour Chamonix and Mont Blanc from Geneva
Description:
Our tour will begin by boat on Lake Geneva, overlooking the fabulous coastal towns and snow-white peaks of the Alps, among which rises Mont Blanc. On the opposite side of the lake, we will change the boat for a comfortable car and go on the mountain roads to Chamonix. Driving through the highland vineyards of Europe, we just have to stop for tasting the famous wines and cheese. Chamonix - a French town - a resort consisting of only a couple of streets - will allow us to fully enjoy the measured alpine life, fresh air and incredible views of the Alps. Our goal is to climb Mont Blanc, where we will climb on large panoramic lifts along the highest cable car in Europe. On the descent from Mont Blanc we will meet the famous glacier Mer de Glace - "Ice Sea" (7 km in length and 20 in width). Descent to Shanomi, dinner at a restaurant. Back to Geneva.
