Michal Gate

Description:
The highest point of this defensive fortification reaches 51 meters in height. At the top is a statue of St. Michael. Now "Mihalska Brana", of course, is not used for its intended purpose. At the moment, tourists can visit the Museum of Defense and Urban Fortification.
The ticket purchased for passage to the museum also gives the right to go up to the observation deck, which overlooks the panorama of the Old Town. Through the gate, which, by the way, are the only of the four preserved, passes the narrowest street in the city.
Near the gate, in a small stone house will be placed Pharmacy, the interior design of which was made in the likeness of old Bratislava pharmacies. A few steps east of the gate to the sky rushes the building of an old powder tower.
