Buzz Square
Zupne namestie 81, Bratislava, Slovakia
Description:
The square belongs to the historical center of Bratislava. It is located opposite the Mikhal Gate of the Old Town and adjacent to Gurbanova Square. The square is famous for its unique architecture, preserved since the XIX century.
On Zupnaya Square you can find several churches, including the Church of St. Paul. Jan, who is a copy of his Viennese counterpart. In addition, here is the Capuchin Church, much more modest in its architecture.
The pearl of this place is the Trinitarian monastery. In 1844, the magnificent monastery building was rebuilt for administrative purposes. Here began to house the municipal authority, called Zhupa. This gave the name of the entire square. Now inside the monastery is the National Council of the country.
