Sliach Airport
Description:
Sliac Airport is a small airport in central Slovakia, known for its regular flights to Prague.
Not far from the airport there is an aeroclub of the village of Ochova, which conducts balloon launches, as well as air excursions to the surrounding places.
The airport started in the 1930s. Then it was a military airfield on which Soviet aircraft landed. Since 1947, regular civil services have begun here, and today there are two airlines operating at the airport, flying to Prague and Burgas. The rest of the flights operate during tourist seasons.
The airport has recently been renovated and re-entered. It corresponds to different quality categories.
