Dolna Grichov Airport
Description:
Dolna Grichov Airport, located near Zhilina, in the village of Dolny Grichov, is an international airport founded in 1974 on the site of the old airport and having only one passenger terminal. There is one regular line Žilina – Prague, and the rest of the flights are open only during the tourist season. Military aviation is also based at the airport.
Registration at the airport is made 2 hours and ends 30 minutes before the departure time specified in the ticket. You can get to the airport by bus, which runs regularly from the city. The airport serves more than 1 million people living in the northwestern region of Slovakia.
On the territory of the airport for the convenience of passengers there are restaurants and cafes, parking and luggage cameras.
