Excursion for those who have already visited Slovenia and want to learn more The tour I offer introduces you to a remote and little-known (from a tourist point of view) part of Slovenia, called the Breginski Cat. Discovering this corner, I fell in love with this mighty, full of history and interweaving of human destinies, a patchwork of Slovenia. The history of the Breginsky cat, in some ways resembles the fate of man. Who only did not rule here, who only did not try to subdue Bregin, and he, each time bending under blows. He stood up again and lived his proud life. Dear guests, you already know from your own experience that Slovenia has many beautiful and clean rivers. Most of them are cold, mountainous rivers, but not all. Acquaintance with the warm Nadija River, which the locals say with a serious expression that penicillin flows in it. And this is due to their experience in treating burns, injuries and skin diseases with water from this river. We will visit the westernmost village of Slovenia, the inscription on the wooden board, standing at the end of the village (made by children's hands), says a lot. “Where did you all go” – yes, there are now seven people living there, and a few decades ago, there were three hundred people living here! The ecological farm where we will dine is famous for excellent sheepskin cottage cheese. Here they cook a delicious "Freak" (potatoes, two types of cheese and eggs), baked in a pan and served with polenta. We will visit the beautiful gorge and learn more interesting things. The beginning of the tour will also be unusual. Loading the car on a car train, we will pass through the longest railway tunnel in Slovenia.
