You can taste the famous mineral water directly from the spring. The list of notable guests of the hotels includes many famous names of representatives of ruling dynasties: Habsburgs, Bonaparte, Hohenzollern, Karadjordjevic and others. The heyday of the social life of the resort came in 1846, when guests were entertained by the famous pianist Franz List.
From Rogaska we will go to the village of Olimier with a rich tourist offer. First you will visit one of the first pharmacies in Europe, located in a monastery. In the monastery, monks still make medicines from natural ingredients according to ancient recipes, which are sold in the store at the museum. Opposite the monastery is a private tourist deer farm "Deer ridge", where you can admire the animals walking around the territory. Visit Celje Castle, which is one of the most important architectural monuments of the century in Slovenia. On the way from Ljubljana or back we can visit the archaeological park of the Roman Necropolis in Shempetra. Almost 2000 years ago, a very important Roman road Ogley-Ljubljana-Celier-Ptuy passed through Schempeter. Around were the estates of many Roman aristocrats and rulers of Celea (Celea), some of them put the tombs of their families in Schumpeter Roman necropolis.
