Upper shopping area
Description:
The upper shopping area or Prešerna Square in the capital of Slovenia (Ljubljana) is located in the historical center of the city. It is one of three squares located in its old part. The square is named in honor of the poet Franze Prešeren, his monument is located in the middle of this historic place. The famous church of St. Florian is also located there. Previously, trade flourished on this square, now it is touristic in nature and accommodates cafes and restaurants.
The square is located in the heart of the city, it does not take much time to get there. This place is mandatory for visiting guests of the capital.
