Beekeeping Museum in Radowlice

The Beekeeping Museum in Radovlica is a major museum dedicated to the extensive experience and rich traditions of beekeeping in Slovenia.

The exhibition is divided into three themes: technical part, biological department and art gallery.

In the technical part, you can see the equipment of beekeepers, typical hives and tools for working with bees.

The biological department presents samples of local species of bees, tells about their features and conditions of detention.

The art gallery of the museum tells about the history of beekeeping in Slovenia, and also shows hives, beautifully painted by folk craftsmen.
