Slovenian Alpine Museum

The Slovenian Alpine Museum is a large museum with a rich collection of various objects and materials demonstrating the development of mountaineering in Slovenia.

There is an extensive collection of exhibits with an interesting historical description, a lot of photos and archival materials collected by professional climbers and ordinary people who climbed Slovenian peaks.

The concept of the museum exposition is based on the impressions that a person experiences when climbing the tops of the mountains.

The museum occupies 16 rooms located on two floors.
