Description:

Gray Square is one of the favorite tourist attractions. It has preserved the Maribor Castle. It dates back to the 15th century. It was in wartime a fortress that protected the city from enemy hordes. From an architectural point of view, it is a late Gothic. Inside it today there is a museum with interesting and expensive collections. Opposite the castle stands a monument to St. Florian, who is considered the patron saint of the city, which protects it from fires. During the Middle Ages, fires were a frequent occurrence in the city. A few years ago it was completely renovated and restored. You can get to Maribor by train, bus, car.
