Museum of Pleterier

The Pleterier Museum is an open-air museum located near the Carthusian Monastery of Pleterier. It is considered a monument of traditional construction of Slovenia, which can tell a lot about the conditions of life in the 19th century.

Here you can visit craft workshops for the manufacture of a wide variety of folk crafts. Periodically, festivals of ancient rituals and customs are organized in this place, competitions of folk singing and exhibitions of domestic animals are held.

In the so-called house of Banich, located on the territory of the museum, there is a tourist center where you can find out all the information about the sights of the museum.
