National Hot Dog Day in the United States
Description:
This holiday was officially established by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 1957.
In 1994, the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council was created to study the quality of the product, tasting and advertising hot dog.
Traditionally, members of the council of fans of hot dogs and sausages hold competitions in the art of cooking hot dogs, proclaiming 4 basic rules:
Persons over 18 years old are not allowed to water a hot dog with ketchup.
Hot dog in a bun can not be eaten from a plate, but only with hands;
The seasoning remaining on the hands cannot be washed off, you need to lick your fingers;
In any case, you can not put a hot dog on Chinese dishes, this is simply incompatible with the concept of “hot dog is the national American food”.
