Description:
North Avenue Beach is located on the coast of Lake Michigan, and is famous for its fine yellow sand, developed infrastructure, and amazing shape. The eastern part of the beach has the appearance of four regular cascades, about 400 meters long, and the western part is a semicircle.
On the territory of North Avenue there is a volleyball court, as well as places for playing table tennis. Every day there are attractions – catamarans and boats, which will take you to the middle of the lake, where you can fish and swim. You can hide from the scorching sunlight under umbrellas, which are offered to rent for a fee. 50 meters from the beach there are restaurants, cafes and clubs. Also nearby is the Lincoln Park Zoo, where you can spend your leisure time.
North Avenue beach is very popular with tourists and locals, so it is quite crowded. If you want to take a break from the bustle of the city and retire with nature, it is best to visit it early in the morning or evening. So you can admire the lake surface in peace and quiet. North Avenue beach is perfect for family holidays, because its coastal depth is only 1 meter.
