Kaihalu Red Beach

Kaihalulu Beach, Maui, HI, United States

Description:

Red beach Kaihalulu - an amazing place on the east coast of the Hawaiian island of Maui, known for its beach with dark red sand, sometimes turning red. Such an unusual color of sand was obtained thanks to the long-standing eruptions of the Kauki volcano, now destroyed and crumbling.

The red sand contrasts unusually brightly with the greenery growing on the shore, and from the sky blue sea, giving the landscapes around a truly fascinating view. The beach is located in a remote place, it is difficult to get there, so it was chosen by nudists and fans of extravagant views.

The composition of the beach sand includes a large amount of rust, which gives the shore an amazing reddish hue. The road to the beach runs along a narrow and very dangerous mountain range that runs past an ancient Japanese cemetery, so probably the beach is visited mainly by fans of extreme recreation.
