Description:

Sunset Park is one of the largest parks in Las Vegas. It is located near McKiren Airport, in the southeastern part of the city. Initially, in 1909, the park was a ranch of purebred horses, but in 1967 the current territory of the park was acquired by Clark County and turned into a park.

The area of the park is approximately 57,000 square meters. Sunset Park is home to various waterfowl and fish. A distinctive feature of the park can be called a small island, which is located in the center of the pond.

Sunset Park can be called a favorite place for picnics and festivals. There are 8 open-air tennis courts, basketball and baseball courts, picnic tables and barbecue places. Particularly popular is the pond, in which you can catch fish, trout or catfish depending on the season, but no more than 3 copies. The park is a great place to relax for the soul and body.
