5 Grand Anacapri Dr, Henderson, NV 89011, United States of America
Description:
27 kilometers from the city of Las Vegas is an artificial lake with the same name. It has always attracted celebrities and tourists from all over the world. Here it is customary to rebuild luxury hotels and mansions, play high-profile weddings and just enjoy the great scenery.
Lake Las Vegas is located in Nevada, and is one of the largest reservoirs in the United States. The territory includes not only many expensive hotels, but also popular casinos such as Monte Lego.
The idea of creating a lake appeared in 1967, and belongs to actor J. Carlton Adair. He owned the land and the rights to the lake. He wanted to build a dam so that water from the Colorado River could flow through the desert. But Adair went bankrupt and Ronald Boydecker bought the property. The dam was not built until 1991.
The lake began to lose its popularity with the advent of the economic crisis, which affected both tourists and owners of large houses.
