Description:

One of the attractions of Las Vegas is the Sam Boyd football stadium, inaugurated in 1971. The total cost of its construction was estimated at $3.5 million. It was originally called Las Vegas Stadium, but after Sam Boyd won the Silver Bowl in 1984, the stadium was renamed in his honor.

From 1971 to 1977, its capacity was 15,000, in 1978 it was increased to 32,000, and then, in 1999, to 36,800.

In 2002, the stadium field was covered with high-quality artificial turf. Its infrastructure includes 40 locker rooms, 10 coaching rooms, and several small sports cafes.

The stadium is home to the Las Vegas Locomotives football team. Every year, major competitions are held here, which attract the best athletes from around the world.
