National Museum of Atomic Testing

755 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV, USA

About the company:

The Museum of Atomic Testing is one of the most amazing museums in Las Vegas. The exhibits and expositions exhibited here are devoted to nuclear tests that were conducted at the NTS test site in the Nevada desert. Since the 1950s, about 800 underground and more than 100 atmospheric nuclear shells have been detonated at the test site.

The museum is located in the suburbs of Las Vegas, in the small town of Paradise. Funding for the museum includes support from the purchase of commemorative license plates issued in Nevada by the Department of Motor Vehicles. The museum is a little creepy - in the gloomy rooms that look like a bunker, you can see various protective equipment and Geiger counters.

There is even a movie hall where real atomic explosions are shown. Visitors can press the red button to get at the heart of the nuclear test. In the gift shop, visitors can purchase T-shirts with the name of the museum, as well as keychains and trinkets in the form of bombs and molecular structures.
