Casino Hotel Cosmopolitan
3708 Las Vegas Boulevard S, Las Vegas, NV
About the company:
The Cosmopolitan Casino Hotel is located on Strip Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada. Construction began in October 2005 and cost nearly $4 billion. The grand opening of the Cosmopolitan took place on December 15, 2010.
The complex consists of 2,200 apartments and 800 rooms, a casino with an area of 7000 square meters, a spa and fitness center with an area of 3,700 square meters, as well as 6 swimming pools, a cinema, conference areas and various shopping halls.
The cosmopolitan was built on the site where the parking used to be, so the city council decided to build an underground parking lot that would compensate for the parking spaces on which the casino now stands. And since then, the Cosmopolitan Casino is the second in Las Vegas to have its own underground parking.
In June 2008, the management of the world-famous magazine Cosmopolitan accused the casino management of plagiarism and filed a lawsuit in court. But the casino won the case and its name has not changed.
