Excursion to Santa Barbara and Solvang from Los Angeles
Description:
This is one of our favorite excursions and, as practice shows, our tourists also like it very much. The variety of the program, the beautiful nature and the most interesting towns make this tour not tiresome despite its duration.
We will make an unforgettable trip to the most Spanish, in architectural terms, the city of Central California Santa Barbara and the most Danish village Solvang. In the end, you will taste real California wines.
California is one of the US states that boasts an abundance of famous cities. An ordinary trip abroad can turn into a bright adventure if you choose the right place to visit. The ranking of popular tourist sites in the United States never leaves Santa Barbara – the legendary city, the excursion to which will not be forgotten soon, because a professional tour of local attractions will allow you to get acquainted with the unforgettable flavor of this amazing town.
Many foreign guests like the variety of entertainment program, beautiful nature, masterpieces of architecture and dozens of interesting stories from the life of celebrities. The large concentration of attractions in Santa Barbara makes excursions here not tedious, despite the considerable length of the tour.
Connoisseurs of the beautiful will bring great pleasure to an unforgettable trip to this very “Spanish”, in architectural terms, the city of Central California. And besides, a tour to Santa Barbara and a tour of the most authentic Danish village Solvang is an opportunity not only to admire the sights and colorful memos of the history of the United States, but also a great opportunity to taste real California wines!
Excursion programme:
Santa Barbara
"American Riviera" - so often called Santa Barbara, by analogy with the "Côte d'Azur" of France. We will introduce you to the historic city center and the Royal Mission (Spanish-Franciscan Mission, built in 1812). The tour will begin with a visit to the Santa Barbara City Courthouse, this architectural landmark is considered the most beautiful administrative building in the United States, with one of the best views of the city. The journey will continue with a walk through the famous Stearns pier, built more than 130 years ago.
Solvang
Little Denmark is a small town of Solvang with a population of about 5,000, founded in 1911 by a group of immigrants who moved here from the central United States in search of a milder climate. The city is called the “Danish village” not without reason: it has several classic pastry shops, restaurants, and souvenir shops sell national Danish clothes and recognizable paraphernalia. Even the buildings in the city center are built in European style. Guests of the city will have time to walk through the most beautiful streets and feel the spirit of the real Denmark without leaving the United States.
Santa Ines Valley
The final part of the trip will be a pleasant acquaintance with the local nature. You will climb the mountains and find yourself in the valley of Santa Ines, famous for its vineyards. There are about forty of them, but the tour will take place in the best of them. Walking through the wineries, you can enjoy not only stunning California wines, but also beautiful scenery!
