Los Angeles

Museum of Antique Cars. Musical instruments. Ronald Reagan Library

Description:

The tour begins with a visit to the huge museum of antique cars, which is located on the outskirts of Los Angeles. This museum is among the five best similar museums in the world. Here you will not only find yourself in the past years, surrounded by cars of those times, but also will be able to get a lot of interesting information for you at accompanying exhibitions, such as trademarks of radiators, the history of the development of headlights and other various automotive devices.

Then you will find a fascinating tour of the floors, which are collected unique, ancient musical instruments from around the world. For a while you will get into the world of foxtrot, jazz and ballroom dancing. These musical instruments are automatic and capable of playing without human intervention. Together with their music, you will go through the entire development of these musical instruments: from the first wind instruments and Thomas Edison’s gramophone, to huge organ installations. (This tour is unique and does not take place every day, so please book it at least a few days in advance.)

A little later we will go to another beautiful place, which is located in our mountains. You probably know that some presidents leave behind institutions or libraries. You can visit the Ronald Reagan Library. Get acquainted with the history of his life, watch excerpts of films about various significant events in his life, visit the President’s plane and see a lot of interesting things related to him. You can also visit his grave. This tour will take about 6 hours of your time, but the information you get will be enough for a very long time.
