Santa Barbara + Solvang + California wine tasting

This is one of my favorite excursions, and as practice shows, tourists are also delighted with it, despite its rather long duration. We will embark on an incredible journey to “little Europe”: Santa Barbara, distinguished for its truly Spanish architecture, and Solvang, often referred to as the “Danish village”. A trip to Santa Barbara will include exploring the historic center and the Spanish-Franciscan mission, visiting the city’s oldest courthouse and its beautiful observation deck, and walking along the popular and much-loved State Street. Solvang is a “little Denmark”, a very small town with a population of 5,000 people, founded in the early XX century by Danes who noticed this place because of the mild climate. The city has Danish pastry shops, restaurants, shops with souvenirs and even the national clothes of Denmark. Finally, we will be in the Santa Ines Valley, perhaps the most enjoyable part of our journey. The valley is known for its many vineyards and the production of fine wine. We will visit a couple of the best wineries and taste the popular varieties of this wonderful drink.
