In 2001, the A+D Museum was opened on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, which literally means the Museum of Architecture and Design.
The museum was located in the Bradbury Building, but after the building was sold, it changed its location several times. He finally settled on Wilshire Boulevard. It was created in order to raise the level of awareness of visitors in architecture and design.
The building houses an information and education center for designing interior design, clothing, cinema, landscape design and architecture. This is the only museum in Los Angeles where exhibits of this area are on public display. Through its exhibitions, symposiums, interdisciplinary projects and community programs, the museum influences the fruitful collaboration of designers from around the world.
A+D is a non-profit organization funded by public donations and government funds. The museum is housed in a small snow-white building of intricate shape, which attracts the attention of tourists with its bright orange sign “A+D”.
