Lincoln Road

Lincoln Road is a central pedestrian street in Miami Beach, 7 blocks long, filled with fashionable boutiques, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, theaters and concert halls. In 2011, Lincoln Road was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

In the 60s, the famous architect Morris Lapidus was commissioned to reconstruct Lincoln Road. He made the project in his own contemporary neo-barroco style, which he developed in previous years. Its architectural style is easily recognizable - the smooth curves of the walls resemble a light breeze of the ocean.
