"Gentrification" slowly but surely pushes artists beyond the city limits, but in New York you can still find many wonderful examples of street art. The tour includes a trip to the world famous 5 Pointz Center.
I regret to announce the destruction of the 5 Pointz Graffiti Center. At the end of November 2013, there was an unprecedented act of vandalism – all works were painted in white on the orders of the owner of this industrial complex, David Wolkoff, who plans to build expensive housing on the site of the destroyed art center.
