New York City

Park on the former High Line subway line

210 10th Ave, New York, NY, USA

Description:

High Line is a former metro line. It is also called the “Greenest Metro Line”. The park has narrow paths, but its length is more than 5 kilometers. Walking here at a height is very unusual and informative. From here, without much effort, magnificent panoramic pictures of New York are obtained.

The High Line Park is surrounded by modern architecture. Many houses have a unique design and deserve special tourist attention. Windows in many houses from floor to ceiling. From the park you can admire the city residents and look at the bustle of the city from a small height.

High Line Park is quiet and calm. It is not for jogging, but for romantic walks right under the moon. It is especially nice to walk here in the evening. The park is the best American example of reorganizing an unnecessary and useless zone into an interesting and useful object for citizens and tourists.
