New York City Police Museum (New York)

The most famous police department in the United States is the New York Police Department, which has been repeatedly famous for various Hollywood blockbusters. No wonder the museum is the best in the country. The richest collection of exhibits clearly reflects the path trodden by American guardians of order since 1845.

The expositions of the museum include police uniforms of different historical periods, special equipment, evidence from the scenes of high-profile crimes and, of course, the arming of police officers. A separate room is dedicated to the events of the eleventh of September. For children in the museum created a special “research area for young officers”. The official date of foundation of the museum is 2000.
