Museum of Modern Art MoMA

11 West 53 Street New York, NY 10019

About the company:

MoMA Museum of Contemporary Art is located in Manhattan in the heart of business and cultural life of New York. The museum has been operating since 1928 and today owns an impressive collection of art objects from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day.

In 1947, MoMA signed a contract with the Metropolitan Museum. According to the agreement, the works of art, after the expiration of years and the emergence of new trends, were to be transferred from MoMA to the collection of the Metropolitan Museum. However, the contract was later terminated, thanks to which the MoMA Museum has preserved in its heritage a significant part of the masterpieces that have become today a “classic” of modern art.

If you are a designer, modernist decorator, art student, and just a connoisseur of art in search of inspiration, you should definitely visit the MoMA Museum in New York. You can visit the museum for free - on Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m.
