The Punch Bowl Waterfall
Punch Bowl Falls, Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon 97014
Description:
Punch Chalice Falls is the calling card of the Pacific Northwest and Oregon. It can be seen on postcards, postage stamps, calendars and other souvenirs. Traveling along the gorge of the Columbia River, you can find a dozen different and different waterfalls, but the Punch Cup has become a favorite place for tourists and locals.
For several thousand years, the flow of water formed a stone bowl, which gradually turned into a comfortable pool. On summer weekends, many locals choose to relax here, not to mention tourists traveling along the river and making a stop here.
The waterfall is located in a charming place, where on one side steep cliffs, and on the other old forest. Through it on a rather difficult path you can climb to the top of the waterfall.
