Citrus Tower

141 North Hwy 27, Clermont, FL 34712, USA

Description:

The Citrus Tower was built to allow visitors to observe the miles of orange groves surrounding it. The tower rises more than 152 meters above sea level, making it the highest point in Florida.

The Citrus Tower rises as a landmark since 1956. Today, she is vying for the title of being the tallest with water towers and office buildings that have flooded Florida. Riding the elevator to the very last floor of any high-rise, there is hope to see the Citrus Tower in all its glory, as the keeper of the history of high-rise buildings in Florida. In the Citrus Tower there is a place called "Make a wish" - there you can hear the ringing of a thrown coin during its fall to the bottom.

In the building, which is adjacent to the base of the tower, there is a large gift shop, opened almost simultaneously with the Tower, as well as a local church.

Such attractions as the Citrus Tower, remained a few, but that they are valuable as guardians of the history of Florida.
