San Diego is one of the oldest Californian cities, located in the southwestern United States on the Pacific coast near the border with Mexico.
After a couple of hours on the expressway from Los Angeles in a southerly direction, you will get to an amazing place for beauty, the resort and La Jolla Beach is one of the most beautiful resorts in America, where you will see the chic houses of the new Beverly Hills, and the rookery of seals in the gorge of La Jolla.
The first acquaintance with the city of San Diego will begin with a walk through the historic park Old Town, where you can see the original and reconstructed historic buildings in the Mexican style, old Spanish villas and the Bazar del Mundo.
Balboa Park is the largest cultural park in America, where there are many museums, fountains and unusually beautiful gardens.
The central part of Downtown, the main street of Broadway and the famous Gas Lanterns quarter. A beautiful view of the city will open from the central embankment of Embarcader, where the seaport is located with ancient yachts, US Navy ships, submarines of the fleet, and the famous aircraft carrier Midway, which recently became a museum. A sea village where you can have a delicious lunch with a view of the city and the promenade.
The soaring Coronado Bridge, almost 3.5 km long, will lead to the charming Coronado peninsula with one of the main decorations of the city, the Hotel del Coronado, where in 1959 the film “In Jazz, Only Girls” was shot and where fashionable hotels and numerous restaurants are located.
