Description of the tour:
Having moved over the famous Golden Gate Bridge and, if desired, making a stop for a photo at one of the observation decks, you will get to an amazing place for beauty, the redwood forest - the national nature monument of Muir Woods.
During the Gold Rush, when San Francisco began to grow and develop rapidly, it turned out that redwood is an excellent building material. In 1905, William Kent, a local entrepreneur, bought a plot of forest and donated 295 acres to the federal government. Three years later, in 1908, President Theodore Roosevelt declared the area a national monument. At Kent's request, it was named after environmentalist John Muir.
After the Sequoia Grove, the road will take you to the Napa River Valley. In the Indian language, the word Napa meant “Land of Abundance”. This unique in its climate region is the only place in the United States where vintage dry wine is produced and the most famous California vineyards are located. The most popular grape varieties in Napa are Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, and many varieties such as Merlot and Pinot Noir are also produced. Napa Valley accounts for almost 70 percent of all wine production on the continent. You will be offered a visit to 3-5 wineries with tasting of wines, cheeses and pate.
Price: $595 (1-3 people), $695 (4-6 people), more than 6 people - on request + tickets to the park + tastings
