Day 1. The digital revolution. Players and best practices.

On the first day of your trip, you will meet the leaders of the leading companies in the oil and gas industry (Chevron, GE Oil and Gas and PG&E) and learn firsthand how to implement digital technologies in the workflow to create a more flexible work structure. On the example of the best players in the mining industry, you will have the opportunity to determine the main advantages and disadvantages of the company’s transition to digital technologies. Day 2. The digital revolution and increasing automation.

During the second day of the educational program, you will communicate with employees of leading startups. During the interview, you will get answers to questions about how the Internet of Things (IoT) improves the monitoring and maintenance of O&G facilities, reduces downtime, and improves productivity and security. It will also become clear whether it is possible to gain a competitive advantage over traditional business models by introducing artificial intelligence into their activities. Finally, you will learn how to improve the efficiency of digital supply chain management by improving productivity and reducing costs using blockchain.

Day 3. Drones, autonomous vehicles, AR.

The third day of immersion in the field of new technologies will fill you with information about the modernization of the online monitoring system, helping to improve the level of monitoring and security of operations and processes in the oil and gas industry. Day 4. Clean energy of the future.

This day will be devoted to a unique meeting with experts from energy companies such as Gogoro, Bloomenergy and IceEnergy, where you will learn about the leading trends in the solar and wind energy market, the main players and opportunities for traditional industries, as well as new developments in the field of biomass, biofuels and fuel cells.

Day 5. From theory to practice.

The final day will introduce you to visionaries and futurists of Silicon Valley, such as Institute For The Future, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Schlumberger Software Innovation Center. During an interesting lecture on the topic “How can new technology companies avoid declining profits and losing market share?” You will learn how to detect threats to the oil and gas industry and turn them into business opportunities for your company. Then, after analyzing the information received, you will move on to practical actions, and try to develop a suitable plan for your company to implement digital transformation.
