Departure from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park - the world famous, amazing Temple of Nature, which arose during the Ice Age. Yosemite National Park occupies a huge area on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountains east of San Francisco.
Our path lies along orchards and fields. Learn the stories of small towns flashing outside the car window. In the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, there are still settlements of prospectors who mined gold here. We'll make a couple of stops. You will see equipment for the development of deposits and artifacts. Next, the road will go up to the rocky peaks of Yosemite, from one exhilarating panorama to another. Countless lakes, meadows and forests. At the bottom of deep quarries, glaciers shine, preserved to this day from the time of the ice age.
We will stop at the observation decks, from the height of which you can see the Yosemite Valley and the Merced River. From granite rocky vaults, powerful jets of waterfalls collapse. Going down to the valley, we will have the opportunity to come close to them. We will pass along the perimeter of the Yosemite Valley, consisting of a mosaic of open meadows, oak woodland and mixed forests. If we are lucky, we will meet a bear or other animals that live in Yosemite.
Granite cliffs, like the guardians of the valley, Hef Dome and El Capitan leave unique impressions of natural, pristine beauty. Arrive in the grove of giant relic sequoia Mariposa Grove. Walk through the forest of giants among the largest living creatures on Earth. We come down from the mountains, back to San Francisco. (14 hours).
