AT&T Park Stadium
24 Willie Mays Plaza, San Francisco, CA 94107
Description:
AT&T Park, a large outdoor stadium with a capacity of 41,600, was built in 2000. This stadium is the base of the professional club of the famous baseball team Giants, the multiple champion of the World Series of games of Major League Baseball in the United States. There are 5 statues in honor of the most famous players in the history of the team.
The most striking feature of the stadium is the brick wall on the right side of the field, which is exactly 24 feet (7.3 meters) high in honor of the famous team player Willie Maze, who played at number 24. On the wall there are four pillars with fountains, from which jets of water beat to the sounds of the national anthem of the United States, when the team of the Giants plays in their native field and wins.
On the left side of the field is the podium of Coca-Cola fans, behind which a giant 24-meter bottle of Coca-Cola is built. This is a play facility for children who can climb inside the bottle and move down an inclined plane. In the evening, it sparkles with colorful lights.
