San Francisco

Golden State - California

Description:

We invite you to go on a unique tour designed specifically for adventure lovers and everyone who wants to see what the real Wild West is!

You will find a real journey in time - ancient cities and towns, stalactite caves and semi-abandoned mines, giant monoliths and narrow canyons, formed millions of years ago, and, of course, the amazing and unique Las Vegas, which grew up in the middle of the desert literally out of nowhere!

Day 1
San Francisco - Sacramento
Our journey will begin with Sacramento, the capital of California and the oldest town in the state. We will see the State Capitol, surrounded by a picturesque park of the same name, walk through the old part of the city and look at the John Sutter Fort Museum, built in the 40s of the XIX century. Not far from this fort in 1848, the first gold was found, which was the reason for such a rapid influx of people into the region. So, thanks to the Gold Rush in California that began on January 24, 1848, Sacramento gained official status as a city, and then even became the state capital. In this unusual town we will stay for the night.

Day 2
Sacramento - Colombia City - Sonora - Jamestown
Today we will go directly to the place where the first gold nugget was found in the XIX century - to the old mill of John Sutter. You will even have the opportunity to mine gold on your own! Doing this on the first try is not always easy, but we are sure that by the end of this journey you will definitely be an experienced gold prospector! Then you will find abandoned mines, full of mysticism and secrets, and stalactite caves, and ancient villages of gold prospectors. Some of them are Columbia and Angel Camp. By the way, the latter is associated with the work of Mark Twain “The famous jumping frog from Calaveras”, as Mark Twain himself always said that he heard this fascinating story at the Angel Camp Hotel in 1865. The city still hosts frog races, which is why it is often called the Frog City. The next stops on our route are Sonora, famous for its truly cowboy scenery, and Jamestown, famous for its large collection of antique steam locomotives. In Jamestown you will spend the rest of the day and night.

Day 3
Jamestown - Yosemite - Fresno
In the morning we are waiting for the Yosemite Reserve, which will surely conquer you with its waterfalls, granite rocks, icy mountain rivers, mirror lakes and, of course, sequoia forests. Walking through this amazing park, you will go to the town of Fresno near Sequoia National Park, where you will stay for the night.

Day 4
Fresno - Sequoia - Las Vegas
On this day you will find an amazing trip to the “land of Giants” – Sequoia National Park. This incredible forest with majestic trees reaching into the sky was also discovered during the Gold Rush. The park is famous for growing the largest trees in the world. The most famous and huge tree is General Sherman, which we will find in the Giant Forest. The age of the tree is about 3000 years, the height is 84 meters, and the girth at the base is 31.3 meters. Scientists say that Redwoods existed in the Jurassic period and occupied significant areas in the Northern hemisphere. Now they can only be seen in California and Southern Oregon. Here they feel comfortable because they love the moisture that the fogs from the Pacific bring. After visiting the park, you will go to Las Vegas.

Day 5
Las Vegas
On this day you will have a full tour of the city. The tour begins with a stop and a photo at the famous sign “Welcome to Las Vegas”, because it has become an integral part of the image of the most hospitable place on Earth. Then you will find an exciting journey across the Strip (Las Vegas Boulevard), with a stop at the most famous and unusual casino hotels. Luxor, Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn, Ceasar Palace, etc.

On the way to the old part of the city, you will hear the history of Las Vegas with mention of little-known facts. You will pass through the places where this city began in the heart of the desert, and also see the famous chapels, the main purpose of which is to hold wedding ceremonies in the “Las Vegas style”, where not only tourists from all over the world come to unite by marriage, but also world stars.

During this tour you will not only learn a lot about the past, present and future of the city, but also get information about the best restaurants, clubs, shows, exhibitions that take place in the city.
