Mirror lakes
Seattle, Cascade Mountain Valley
Description:
Mirror lakes are a group of lakes located in the valley of the Cascade Mountains. These lakes are a nature reserve, so fishing is strictly prohibited here. Also, according to local regulations, it is impossible to go into the water and swim, and access to many shores is limited to restore the local ecosystem.
Throughout the reserve there are hiking trails, along which you can travel independently or accompanied by a ranger. One has to be very careful as not all trails are equally well marked and each guide describes their length and features differently. Also, in addition to hiking, the reserve offers rental boats and equipment.
